About the facility
A pilot line that thinks like a factory
Our Barcelona facility is designed to act as both a pilot and a benchmarking hub. It can coat a wide variety of substrates — nickel flynet, expanded mesh, wire mesh, foam, felt and more — with different catalyst formulations, at production-grade quality.
Current capacity is up to 100,000 m²/year. Once a commercial partnership is established, we sign an offtake agreement and replicate a fully automated line — up to 400,000 m²/year — close to your production site, deployed in just 8–9 months.
Every process step is instrumented and traceable: raw substrate in, validated electrode out, with full electrochemical characterisation of each batch.

How we work with customers
From enquiry to series production
A clear four-step path: we take your substrate specification in, and return performance-validated electrodes at production scale.
Coating & sampling
Your substrate (or ours) is coated on the Barcelona line with a tailored SPARKFUZE™ recipe. Full electrochemical characterisation is delivered with the samples.
Validation
You test in your stack. We iterate on loading, chemistry and substrate format as needed to hit your performance and cost targets.
Series supply
Scale to series production from Barcelona, or replicate a line close to your site under an offtake agreement.

Substrate flexibility
Nickel flynet, expanded mesh, wire mesh, foam, felt. Titanium and stainless steel pre-treatments under development.
Catalyst library
In-house portfolio of PGM-free, low-PGM, MMO and custom mixes. New formulations developed on request.
Wide-format coating
Up to 2.7 × 1.8 m per electrode, with uniform loading from 0.2 to 2 mg/cm².
Electrochemical testing
Full cell and half-cell characterisation on site, with standardised reporting for each batch.
Rapid prototyping
New coating recipes from spec sheet to sample in a matter of weeks — sub-minute coating cycles make iteration cheap.
Quality & traceability
Process data captured per batch. AENOR ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 framework in implementation.
